We have developed a unique business model to provide comprehensive mental health treatment for whole families with a variety of insurance providers/payer sources. Our goal is to work as a mental health care team, collaborating with our various specialties to provide the best care for our clients.As a professional, your direct efforts will better serve individuals and their families in an environment where everyone feels respected and heard. As a staff member, you will be a part of an incredible team that is devoted to a higher quality of care and celebrating wins together.We are seeking: a full-time licensed mental health counselor.
We offer:
· Flexibility in scheduling. You don’t want to work five days in-office? You don’t have to!· Balance between working in-office and at home. You will see clients in the office, but you are free to leave the office and hold virtual sessions from the comfort of your home.· Production-based compensation ranging from $66,000-$88,000 per year. Compensation can vary depending on experience and the number of clients you see per week. In addition, compensation increases if you assume supervisory duties of a licensed professional counselor candidate.· Covered malpractice insurance policy premiums· $500 continuing education allowance· Medical insurance coverage· 401k with matching· 80 hours of Paid Vacation, 48 hours of Paid Sick Time, Holiday Pay
Education and Qualifications
· Master’s degree in counseling or a related field· Comfortable with adolescent and adult client populations. Willingness to see pediatric client population preferred.· Excellent communication skills· Organize, prioritize, work independently, schedule, and produce work promptly· Maintain and monitor confidentiality of clients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of clients to determine that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed· Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed· Adhere to safety practices
Job Duties and Team Dynamic
· Provide knowledge and supporting documentation for developing, implementing, and evaluating the client’s therapeutic progress (treatment plans)· Provide targeting counseling designed to help the individual overcome their problems· Remain warm and engaged through the duration of every patient’s counseling session· Timely chart/documentation completion (within 48 hours of service)· Attend scheduled staff meetings; promote communication and the proper flow of relevant information between administration, staff, and clients.· Remain knowledgeable of the latest methodologies in counseling to provide patients with the best possible care· Assume independent clinical responsibility for your clients, including the application of crisis intervention techniques to include suicide prevention, recognizing abnormal behavior, and taking appropriate action to prevent or diffuse potentially disruptive situations (or consult with a supervisor or clinical director regarding these situations)· Refer patients to other mental healthcare providers as necessary· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, clinical director, or practice manager· Facilitate growth and collaboration amongst your colleagues.
