Neuropsychological Testing & Autism Evaluations
Neuropsychological evaluations assess a person’s functioning in various domains including; intellectual, cognitive, academic, and emotional/behavioral functioning. Common reasons for an evaluation include attention problems, autism-spectrum disorders, emotional/behavioral problems, and neurological illness/injury. Tests are used to determine a person’s strengths and weaknesses in various domains with the goal of helping them to be more successful in work, school, social, and other situations. The results of the evaluation are used to develop treatment recommendations and an intervention plan.
Play Therapy

Play therapy refers to a range of methods of capitalizing on children's natural urge to explore and harness it to meet and respond to their developmental needs and later also their mental health needs. It is also used for forensic or psychological assessment purposes where the individual is too young or too traumatized to give a verbal account of adverse, abusive, or potentially criminal circumstances in their life.
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy originally designed to alleviate affective distress, negative beliefs and memories, and reduce physiological arousal. EMDR is used to treat trauma-related disorders.
Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback is a brain based approach to rehabilitation of the whole individual. It focuses on retraining and reconditioning brainwave patterns to maintain optimal-self regulation of the Central Nervous System (CNS). Neurofeedback improves mental performance, physiological stability and emotional control. Common concerns Neurofeedback addresses: Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, PTSD, Sleep, Trauma, Panic Attacks, Pain, Emotional Reactivity. This service is not covered by insurance.
Person-Centered Therapy
Person-centered therapy uses a non-authoritative approach that allows clients to take more of a lead in discussions so that, in the process, they will discover their own solutions. The therapist acts as a compassionate facilitator, listening without judgment and acknowledging the client’s experience without moving the conversation in another direction. The therapist is there to encourage and support the client and to guide the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with the client’s process of self-discovery.
AutPlay Therapy
AutPlay Therapy is a specific play therapy approach designed for neurodivergent children and adolescents. AutPlay Therapy incorporates nondirective techniques and directive techniques to support the child or adolescent.
Family Therapy
Internal Family Systems therapy is based upon family systems theory, which emphasizes that individuals cannot be fully understood in isolation from the family unit. This therapy model attempts to better understand the person’s internal community or family and assumes that we all possess a variety of sub-parts. Healing occurs by getting to know all these parts and better understand how the overall system reacts in situations or to other people.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MCBT)
Mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy combines mindfulness skills such as meditation and paying attention to body sensations in the present moment with challenging and changing patterns of thinking or behavior that may contribute to their difficulties. This form of therapy can treat anxiety, depression, insomnia, obsessive compulsive thoughts, PTSD, etc.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a particular type of treatment designed for individuals who experience very intense emotions and the impulsive, and often self-destructive behaviors that often accompany these emotions. Originally developed for individuals living with Borderline Personality Disorder, it has now shown promise as a treatment for a variety of conditions, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). We have providers who offer DBT skills incorporated into individual therapy, but we do not have a full DBT program at this time.
