Our mental health care team includes a Board Certified Neuropsychologist, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in neuropsychological testing, Psychologist Candidates, and Professional Counselors with varying specialties.
Dr. Emily Inman, PsyD, ABN
Licensed Psychologist, Board Certified Neuropsychologist, Clinical Director
Dr. Emily Inman, PsyD, ABN is a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado and a member of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. She earned both her masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology from the University of the Rockies. After completing her doctorate, she worked as the resident psychologist at a dual-diagnosis behavioral health clinic in Colorado Springs, as a competency evaluator at the Colorado Mental Health Institute of Pueblo, and as a psychologist in private practice. Dr. Inman works with a neuro-centered approach that is dedicated to helping people think better in school, at work, and throughout later life. She works to truly understand each of her client’s individual needs and goals, and works with them to develop a personalized plan for growth.

Dr. Gabriella Gomez, PhD
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Gabriella Gomez, PhD, is a bilingual licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado. She earned both her Master’s degree in Psychology and doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Southern Methodist University in Texas. As a graduate student she worked with children, adolescents, and adults conducting psychological assessments, neuropsychological evaluations, and therapy. After completing her doctoral degree she worked for adult probation in Dallas primarily completing substance abuse and dual diagnosis evaluations in English and Spanish, as well as serving as the evaluator for a diversionary drug court program. Dr. Gomez moved to Colorado in 2019 after taking a position doing court ordered competency evaluations for the State of Colorado. Throughout her career her main interests and strengths have been providing services to Spanish speakers and performing evaluations, testing, and writing reports to help diagnose and provide treatment recommendations to individuals ranging from childhood through late adulthood. She is excited to bring that passion to The Center for Cognitive Health and to transition from nearly a decade of working in the public sector to private practice. In her free time Dr. Gomez enjoys spending time with her mischievous little dog, attending yoga classes, cooking new recipes, and learning how to bake all kinds of sweets at this high altitude. Dr. Jose “Joey” Tapia, Ph.D., CRC, LPC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Dr. Jose “Joey” Tapia (he/him/his) has a Ph.D. in Counseling and serves clients across the lifespan. He provides Emotionally Focused Therapy to individual, couples, and families and Child-Centered Play Therapy to children, as well as disability-responsive therapy, and LBGTQIAA+ affirming therapy. Joey works to provide a safe environment for clients in three languages: English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. Dr. Jess Pearson-Allen is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Neuropsychology and a licensed behavior analyst supervised by Dr. Emily Inman. She has over 15 years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and/or ADHD as well as other developmental disorders. Jess has a Ph.D. in School Psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology from Texas Woman’s University. Jess earned her master’s degree in Special Education at The University of North Texas (UNT), where she also earned two graduate academic certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Interventions.
At the Center for Cognitive Health, Jess provides neuropsychological assessment services to children and adults. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high quality mental health and psychological services to individuals and families. She works to ensure clients feel comfortable throughout their assessment and that they leave feeling good about their overall experience. Spencer is obtaining a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from Colorado Christian University, a Bachelors in psychology, and is currently working on his supervised training to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. Spencer believes in seeing every individual holistically and that every person has a story and is worthy of being seen and their story being known. Spencer provides a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental therapeutic space for his clients when they come for testing at The Center For Cognitive Health, where they can bring their stories into his office to better understand their own stories.
Spencer is a Michigan Native and an avid hockey fan. When Spencer is not in school and seeing clients, he can be found at a local coffee shop enjoying an Ethiopian Pour Over with his friends. Spencer enjoys fly fishing, reading poetry, powerlifting, and spending time with his friends over a campfire in his spare time.
