Emily Inman, PsyD, ABN
Clinical Psychologist, Board Certified Neuropsychologist, Clinic Director
Dr. Emily Inman, PsyD, ABN is a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado and a member of the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. She earned both her masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology from the University of the Rockies. After completing her doctorate, she worked as the resident psychologist at a dual-diagnosis behavioral health clinic in Colorado Springs, as a competency evaluator at the Colorado Mental Health Institute of Pueblo, and as a psychologist in private practice. Dr. Inman works with a neuro-centered approach that is dedicated to helping people think better in school, at work, and throughout later life. She works to truly understand each of her client’s individual needs and goals, and works with them to develop a personalized plan for growth.
Jeff Citro, M.A., LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Jeff Citro is a licensed mental health counselor with experience in clinical, residential and academic settings as an educator and psychotherapist. Drawing on a wealth of experience he concentrates on treating the “whole person” rather than a specific diagnosis. With empathy, good humor and clinical competence, Jeff partners with clients and their other health care providers to not only achieve treatment goals, but to provide a transformative experience. Using Neurofeedback, an eclectic blend of traditional therapies, and cutting edge technology, Jeff has helped countless people overcome addictions, psychological wounds, fears and other barriers to healthier living.
Nadine Doughty
Psychologist Candidate
Dr. Nadine Doughty, PsyD Candidate is a (pre-licensed) psychologist in the State of Colorado. She earned both her masters and doctorate degrees in Clinical psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology from The University of the Rockies and Ashford University. During Dr. Doughty’s practicum and pre-doctoral internship she was privileged to work with individuals whose diagnoses included trauma, sexual trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Dr. Doughty completed her post-doctoral internship with Colorado Department of Corrections in Canon City, Colorado. Dr. Doughty’s passion and research was based on Equine-facilitated psychotherapy for individuals who have sustained trauma/sexual trauma. Dr. Doughty’s love for nature and horses support her theoretical and experiential approach to therapy from a mindfulness practice in the treatment of traumatic stress. Hobbies and self-care come in the form of hiking, camping, and just being in nature. Dr. Doughty shares her love of the ‘great outdoors’ whenever possible, with her family.
Bailey Westerfield, M.A., LPCC
Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
Bailey holds a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University as well as a certificate in play therapy from Adams State University. Bailey is currently working on her post-Master’s clinical supervised training to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. Her clinical supervisor is Dr. Emily Inman, Licensed Psychologist. Bailey is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. She has three years of experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Bailey specializes in childhood, adolescent and teenage concerns, behavioral therapy and LGBTQ related matters. Bailey enjoys hiking, CrossFit, white water rafting, and spending time with her family.
Sarah Stover, M.A.,M.Ed., LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Sarah Stover is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado, with a primary focus on trauma and resiliency. Sarah attended the University of Colorado- Colorado Springs for her Master of Arts in Counseling. A Michigan native, Sarah has lived in four states and one foreign country prior to moving to Colorado Springs. Through experience, education, and research, Sarah believes in the importance of mind-body integration in the practice of mental health and well-being. Sarah uses a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that emphasizes the use of mindfulness and practical skill application. Drawing on the influences of existential psychotherapy and social engagement theory, Sarah incorporates concepts of empathic connection, social responsibility, and humor into her practice. Sarah can often be found on local trails in her spare time, running or hiking with her dogs. She enjoys coffee, gummy bears, good books, TikTok videos, and laughing until her face hurts
Jose “Joey” Tapia-Fuselier, PhD, CRC, LPC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Jose “Joey” Tapia-Fuselier (he/him/his) has a PhD in Counseling and serves clients across the lifespan. He provides Emotionally Focused Therapy to individual, couples, and families and Child-Centered Play Therapy to children, as well as disability-responsive therapy, and LBGTQIAA+ affirming therapy. Joey works to provide a safe environment for clients in three languages: English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. Outside of work, Joey loves to hike and explore all Colorado has to offer outdoors.
Joel Bersheid, M.A., LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Joel is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received his master’s degree in mental health counseling from Colorado Christian University in Lakewood Colorado. He completed his practicum and internship with Potter’s House in Denver where he saw a range of client ages and concerns. Joel completed his post graduate training at Third Way Center in Denver where he was able to care for at-risk teens ranging from 13 to 20 years old. Joel worked at Third Way for three years where treatment was focused from a trauma informed perspective. During this time, Joel saw a range of complex cases with co-morbid diagnoses and complex family dynamics. Joel has experience with a range of disorders from PTSD, developmental disorders, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia as a result of his experiences at Third Way Center. Joel’s focus in therapy tends to work towards understanding his client’s history and family relationships as a key component in learning how client’s got to where they are and build hope for the future. He often takes an eclectic person-centered approach based upon the client’s needs. He enjoys working with a range of ages but specializes mainly with teens. Joel is trained in EMDR, CBT, MI, and DBT approaches. Joel spends his free time enjoying the mountains and loving the peace and tranquility of them. He spends time with his wife and animals (2 cats and 1 dog) rock climbing, water tubing in the summers, hiking, hunting, reading, watching TV/movies, and spending time with his family.
Jess Pearson-Allen, M.Ed., BCBA

Jess Pearson-Allen is a licensed behavior analyst and doctoral candidate supervised by Dr. Emily Inman. She has over 15 years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and/or ADHD as well as other developmental disorders. Jess is ABD in her Ph.D. Program in School Psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology at Texas Woman’s University. Jess earned her master’s degree in Special Education at The University of North Texas (UNT), where she also earned two graduate academic certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Interventions.
At the Center for Cognitive Health, Jess provides neuropsychological assessment services to children and adults. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high quality mental health and psychological services to individuals and families. She works to ensure clients feel comfortable throughout their assessment and that they leave feeling good about their overall experience. Jess utilizes a biopsychosocial approach to assessment, working diligently to consider all facets of an individual’s background, identity, and lived experiences.

Ann Hagerty, M.F.A., M.A., LPCC
Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
Ann holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, as well as a Master of Fine Arts degree in Poetry and Poetry in Translation from Drew University. Ann is currently engaged in her post-Master’s clinical supervised training to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. Her clinical supervisor is Dr. Jose (Joey) Tapia-Fuselier. Ann has experience working with abuse and sexual assault survivors using a person-centered , trauma-informed approach. Ann works with clients of all ages from children through senior citizens, supporting clients through reclamation of the self following trauma or abuse, pregnancy loss and other grief processes, LGBTQIA+ related challenges, and teaching trauma-informed mindfulness skills. Ann loves to write, cook, hike, construct crosswords, and spend time with her family.
Carolye Asfahl, MA, LPCC,NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate Carolye Asfahl holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She is currently working on her post-master's clinical supervised training to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. Her clinical supervisor is Dr. Jose Tapia-Fuselier, Doctor of Philosophy and Licensed Professional Counselor. Carolye has experience with individuals, couples, children, and athletes. She attunes her counseling approach to her clients’ unique needs, utilizing strengths-based, somatic experiencing, parts work, Nature-Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and mindfulness practices. She has completed additional Emotionally Focused Therapy and Nature-Based Therapy training and working on credentials in play therapy.
A life-long athlete, she’s happiest in motion outdoors camping, mountain biking, Nordic skiing, and being with her family. In quieter moments, she enjoys reading, cooking, and jigsaw puzzles.

She believes in educated communication to help clients feel less in the dark about their behavioral health insurance policies. Her superpower is ‘always seeking and sharing the 'WHY’!
