Licensed Professional Counselor

Dr. Jose “Joey” Tapia (he/him/his) has a Ph.D. in Counseling and serves clients across the lifespan. He provides Emotionally Focused Therapy to individual, couples, and families and Child-Centered Play Therapy to children, as well as disability-responsive therapy, and LBGTQIAA+ affirming therapy. Joey works to provide a safe environment for clients in three languages: English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. Outside of work, Joey loves to hike and explore all Colorado has to offer outdoors.
